UK Truck and Plant are pleased to announce that we have recently been awarded the IRTE Workshop Accreditation for our excellent premises, staff and equipment (plus loads more).
This means we have been added to the IRTE workshop register, which you can find here. Along with over 200 other accredited workshops in the UK, our high-quality work is officiated and customers are able to trust our services by finding us on the register. Even though we (and our current customers) know that the work we provide is of a high standard and that our workshops are professional and top quality, being on the register will enable new customers to see the proof of our excellence and compare us with other accredited workshops,
As a small business, accreditations are really helpful as customers rely on them to filter through maintenance providers to find the best one. We are lucky enough to have several accreditations and certifications to our name, including a recent one by SMAS Worksafe, where we were assessed under SSIP criteria of safety in the workplace. We now have an audited health and safety policy, risk assessment system and a dedicated health and safety advisor, to ensure our workshop and offices are safe for our staff and customers!
We have also attained the certification for the Quality Management System, ISO 9001:2015, a requirement for companies to show customers that you're committed to quality products and services. Our business was audited and passed- proving we are all about customer satisfaction and quality.
Workshops aren't the only thing that can be accredited, staff can be too. By having accreditations and licences under their belts, our staff are acknowledged for their skilled, top-quality work, Many of our mechanics have IRTEC licences and FORS practitioner licences, with several achieving an IMI Level 3 in Light Commerical Vehicles. We ensure that our staff have the relevant skills and training to pursue these qualifications- we want them to be their best to help provide their best work.
