Brake Roller testing

what is this?
Brake Roller Testing is a service that safely measures the vehicle's braking system while stationary, using an automated weighing system which accurately calculates the braking efficiency. This method allows us to assess the braking force for each individual wheel and any imbalances across the axles, as well as the testing of emergency brakes and parking brakes without the risk of accident due to faults.
Large Fleet brake Roller testing
Drive-through style brake roller testing on all types of commmercial vehicles and trailers over 3.5 tons, including STGO registered trailers and low floor clearance vehicles such as Race Transporters and Horse Boxes.
DVSA-approved brake rollers for trucks and trailers
Truck and trailer brakes must be checked every 6 weeks, including during the annual test!
DVSA enforcement officers are finding that the testing of brake performance is either not carried out as often as it should be, or carried out to a low standard, making the condition of the brakes worryingly unreliable.
With us, you will receive a full DVSA-compliant brake roller print-out for your records, to prove that our IRTEC engineers have perfomed the inspection up to standard.
